ARiA is looking for a highly motivated individual to work in our Virginia office in the area of Contracts/ Proposal/ Assistant Project Management.
The Contracts, Proposal, and Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for management of existing ARiA projects, working directly with ARiA’s team of engineers, scientists, and game developers to manage contracts, proposals, and projects in accordance with ARiA’s philosophy of offering the best value for the best work in the industry. This includes the development, distribution, and internal and external briefings including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on each project under management.
The Contracts, Proposal and Assistant Project Manager will have the opportunity to assist senior leadership with business development for ARiA. This includes active monitoring of business opportunities and managing the efforts of ARiA personnel in development and completion of solicitation-compliant proposals and whitepapers.
In support of new and existing efforts, the Contracts, Proposal and Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for developing—in coordination with the technical lead or principal investigator (PI)—work-breakdown structures (WBS), developing scheduling plans to achieve WBS tasks, developing and maintaining Gantt charts to manage, communicate, and track the tasks and schedules, developing staff plan and pricing/cost analysis to achieve the work plan detailed in the project Gantt, and tracking the performance of the tasks in accordance with earned-value-management (EVM) principles.
Other duties may be assigned as needed to support ARiA’s organization’s goals and objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Proven self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver excellence in a deadline-intensive environment
Strong proficiency utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Experience developing and managing WBS, Gantt charts, and other project-management tools with teams
Experience developing and delivering status and management reports
